How do I get a free legal consultation about my unpaid overtime, sexual harassment, workplace injury, or other employment case?

We offer free consultations via phone, videochat, or in person at our office in Midtown Manhattan or satellite offices in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.  You can call us or use the link on this website to book a consultation.  All consultations are free.  We cannot take every case, but if you want us to look at yours, the way to start is by requesting a free legal consultation.

Am I entitled to overtime?

The answer to this question depends on many things.  What state are you in?  What type of job do you?  How much do you get paid and how do you get paid?  How many hours do you work each day?  What hours do you work each day?  How many hours do you work each week.  And a bunch more.  The answer to the question are you entitled to overtime is complicated and you should speak to an attorney to get the answer.  Keep in mind, if you are working more than forty hours per week and not getting paid overtime, that is definitely something you want to talk to a lawyer about.

How much do you charge for your legal services?

There is no upfront fee if we take your unpaid overtime, sexual harassment, workplace injury or discrimination case.  We will take your case and start working on it and you don't pay us anything.  If we win you a settlement or judgment or some other money, than we get a percent of that.  Our percent is one-third to the lawyers and two-thirds to the client, meaning the lawyers get 33.3 percent of the money and you get 66.6 percent.

Do you take cases outside of New York?

The firm's attorneys are only licensed in New York and only take New York cases on their own.  However, we work with attorneys from other firms and represent clients across the country in those cases.  Teaming up with other attorneys, we have worked and are currently working on cases representing clients in the following other states: New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and California.
